Personal Experience

Margo Goldspink experienced chronic illness for many years. She understands the patient's perspective, and the need for practical advice and support.
Nutritional therapy helped her to recover after 8 years of chronic fatigue/ME. Within a year her strength had recovered enough for her to start on a degree in nutritional medicine, instead of going back to her previous role as managing director of a London university business.
What do we do?
The Olive Tree Clinic uses advanced functional medicine techniques, drawn from medical research, to look for nutritional imbalances and underfunction of cells. We take a detailed medical case history which is analysed using the functional medicine matrix. We then offer you a personalised programme of individually selected supplements, eating/food changes and lifestyle suggestions. We may recommend specialist biochemical tests to collect more data if needed.
Examples of tests available:
IgG food allergies/intolerances, comprehensive stool analysis, parasite screening, organic acid urine test, Vitamin D levels, red blood cell minerals, serum amino acids, urine toxic metals, health risk profile, cardiovascular risk profile, osteoporosis profile, chronic fatigue syndrome profile, urinary porphyrins, adrenal stress profile, male hormone panel, female hormone panel, comprehensive thyroid panel, volatile organic compounds- fat biopsy, advanced cholesterol panel, toxic metals hair analysis, urinary neuroactive peptides, detoxification profile, kryptopyroles, and many more.
